Diarrhea

My 11 month old daughter had a stomach bug last week for one day that has led to diarrhea that is continuing as I type. Dehydration is not a problem - she is drinking her formula (chugging is a better word), and in the early stages of the bug, she was taking pedialyte with no problems. But the diarrhea does not seem to want to go away, and even her physician stated in can last up to two weeks. (I have a feeling I will be in his office either by Monday or the end of next week.) any suggestions as to what I can give her that could possibly help with her poopies going back to solid rather than an everlasting running mess?

Thank you for your help.

Try a formula change if over 2 weeks and maybe try more cereal. If she is drinking there is not as much to worry about, but if it lasts and lasts it could be a milk thing. Check it out with your dr.

Hi Sarah.... just a suggestion, if you don't mind.... try changing her milk formula. I tried different brands of infant milks for my son when he was lessthan 1 year old everytime I see his poopies are quite not normal. Until he finally had a milk that suits his system. His poopies are solid since then.

I hope your daughter gets well soon :)
