Is she crying when she wakes up to play? If not let her play and then go back to sleep on her own. I mean if she is ok she is safe and not sick let her be. It took my husband and I until our daughter was 7 months old to crib break her and she does try to wake up sometime and we just let her be in her crib and watch her with the monitor. The more stimulation there is the more they wake up. and my doc even said not to make eye contact with her at night because they take that as a que that you want to interact.

2 of my kids did that when they were around that age.My grandmother said I should put a radio in the room with soft music playing low.I did and they would still wake up but 9 times out of 10 they would just lay there and sing along with the music and fall back to sleep.

We had the same thing for ages - party time at 1am. It's a killer! Like some of the others, I'd recommend following a daytime routine from an expert, and see if that sorts it out. I quite liked Save our Sleep. Good title too, huh!? The theory is, work things out in the daytime and the night will follow. While it's possible she's getting too much sleep during the day, it's also possible she's not getting enough. Sounds bizarre, but I always found the more sleep Grace got during the day (in line with the Save our Sleep book) the better she'd sleep at night.

Try to change her sleeping routines... Let her take a nap late afternoon and let her go to bed a bit later than normally.
