I have returned to work only x2 days and I have chosen to continue breastfeeding. My son is just a week from 1yr (he's a little smaller than his peers) and I have no idea how much milk he is having, I seem to be only expressing around 80mls, is it enough?

I've been expressing since baby was 2 months and only work 2.5 days a week (so expressing 5 times a week). My volume dropped at the 10 month mark and I just couldn't seem to get it back up again. However up until that point I was able to pump 3 to 4 oz each pumping. You will likely get your most volume in the morning pumping (now that I'm taking a lactation assist medication I can get upwards of 9 ounces).

Yes he's eating and drinking water out of cup with spout. I want to continue breastfeeding for as long as he wants it. What I have expressed seems to be enough according to Dad who is looking after him the 2 days I'm at work, so I guess he is satisfied.
