Getting Rid of the Bottle

Need help on how to get a 18 mth old off of the bottle and warm milk. She will rarely drink anything but warm milk from a bottle but the doctor is telling me that she is actually drinking too much milk. I have tried all different kinds of sippy cups to no avail. Any suggestions?

my daughter hated hard sippy cups. so i started with convertible sippy cups that had the same type of sylicon nipple as her bottle. the one i first bought had handles that could be removed and two types of nipples one thats just like a bottle and one more square like a sippy cup. once i could get her to use the sippy cup using the handles i switched the nipples. my daughters 18 mos now and she can drink out of a cup, but if you want to get her use to drinking out of a cup you may want to try a sippy cup with a straw that way she can adjust to hold the cup down and controling how far she tilts the cup

I am in the same boat and have spent over $100 on sippy cups. My doctor said to skip the sippy cup and teach her to drink milk out of a small plastic cup. She said it will be very messy at first but it shouldn't take too long for her to learn.
