How do I get through the day and will my baby still have such a strong bond with me even though he is with someone else the majority of his waking hours?

Been back at work myself now for over a year and honestly am glad that I am!! My son gets fantastic care and socialises with lots of kids, I get some sanity and can pay the bills!! Plus the time we do have together is great!!

It is hard to begin with but really isn't a bad thing believe me xx

you are welcome......Don't worry, just choose the best childcare possible....and your bonding started from the moment you knew you were having a baby, spending 8-odd hours apart does not take that away.

i was never a baby person myself.....but that first ultrasound just did it to me......i was hooked!!!

Thank you! I never thought it would be this hard...I HAVE to go back to work even though I would love to stay at home with him (and never thought I would say that).

He will........you are his mommy and that does not change.....some parents enroll the kids in childcares with camera so you can see them online.  if the daycare is close to work, you can drop in during lunch to see him.

i would give anything to spend time all day cherishing my baby, and it takes me a heart of steel to go back to work each morning.....i try to have faith in myself that i am doing this just to give him a better life too.
