I know it's hard. It was really hard for me. I did not want to leave my daughter at all. I even told myself I could just be a stay at home mom. Didn't work. What I did was I went back part-time first. I worked part-time until my daughter was at least 4-5 months. Now, she's 7 months. Going in part-time first gave me some time to adjust to working again. I took things one step at a time. If your able to go back part-time, give it a try. You'll miss your baby, but you'll realize that you also need a break from taking care of your baby, and that's when work comes in. Good luck!

I know how you feel. My children are 20 and 18 but I was always a working mom. It is the quality time you spend not the quantity of time. Make it a priority to spend some uninterupted time daily with your baby, you will be fine and the baby will be fine too.

I am nearing the empty nest and the grandparent stage within the next few years and want to be home with my grandchildren. I am taking steps to make that happen.

Do not feel guilty for providing for your family. I wish you the very best.
