Going back to work and anxious about leaving my son with a nanny?

I am starting work from April onward and I have never left my son alone. I used to work from home for the past 3 and a half year and now I am moving to another company. I am planning to move to HSR Layout Bangalore and wanted suggestions on nanny or governess. Any suggestions as to where I can look for? Is there any website or service? I am presently living in Gurgaon and will be moving to Bangalore March end.

I would be too. why are you anxious though? is it the separation anxiety leaving your child? or do you think she won't do a good job or will actually be cruel to your child?

If its the anxiety id say, that feeling may or may not go away after a month or two. i got the advice to give it 6 weeks. by then usually your nerves have settle and your settle back into work and maybe actually enjoying being out of the house a little. OR your may feel the anxiety doesn't fade and you my need to make some changes

if its the nanny, id say NOBODY is going to care for your child like you do. even the best and sweetest nanny is the world and that feeling is just worry because YOU won't be there. if your worried about the competency of the nanny maybe find a better one or put your child in group care for a while first where the teachers are licensed by the state and in public your child.
