Going back to work next wednesday and working a different shift than I'm used to....HELP!

I decided, with money being tight, that it would be prudent to go back to work as soon as the doctor released me from maternity leave. I also thought that if I could go to full time hours, we would do better financially and I could qualify for supplemental health insurance when HealthNet runs out. The only thing is, I decided to work the breakfast area in our hotel instead of the reception area and I'm freaking out because for the last three and a half years I have been working overnight and now I'm switching to mornings. Any suggestions on how NOT to have a panic attack?

brand new baby..... lol switching shifts should be the least of your worries ;) sleep when the baby sleeps when your home, breath and take ample opportunity to hop[ off your feet when your at work, relax with the significant other everychance you get, oh and dont forget to breath..... it will all work out. I went back to work after 6 years to a day shift then got laid off and jumped into an awake overnight. I retrained myself by staying up all night with a friend watching movies and sleeping during the day and having quality time with my kiddos after school. remembering to breath is the key to not paincing ;)

Be thankful that you have a job! Some families can't even find a job these days and are getting laid off left and right. Plus mornings are better than nights. You can be at home with your family in the evenings. Good luck adjusting back! I just went back to work full time after having 8 months off....it was a challenge but I love knowing that I'm providing for my family! :)
