Hello... I am a childminder and i have just gone through the same sort of experience.. I took on a 10 month old in November who constantly cried most of each morning.. Its just a case of giving him time to settle in.. Its not nice for you the parent but it sounds as if the minder is honest with you and like me will be doing her best to help your little boy. The little one I have has really settled in now and hardly cries at all x

What does your childminder say, has she offered any advice, what does she do when he won't eat?? A good sign of a good childminder is that she is offering advice and you feel happy with that advice and she is taking steps to help your little one adjust to a different routine. Both my children used to cry when I left them to go to work and it was my mum that looked after them so I think he just needs time to adjust to a different routine, I don't think you should think about changing childminders yet as that will be even more unsettling but give it a month or so

hello i am a childminder and as sad as it souind this it quite normalat firat for all young children esspecially babies as they dont actually understand what is happening, thay take time to settle in to a new route and new people how long as your child been attending thw first week is always the hardest i have a little boy in my car he is just under 2 i have been looking after him since 11 months and for the first week was unsettle but not unhappy he still occasionly crys as his mum leaves him ...........it last a bout 30seconds and then he is off playing withthe toys and the other children............................... i think to suggest that you change your child care is just very sittly as a lot of change so close would do more harm than good .................

Why do you need to go to a childminder? Maybe something is going on that you dont know about? I would suggust that you find a different type of child care
