Now he wakes up almost every 2 hours most times wanting to be fed. Is this sleeping schedule ok? Can I get my son to sleep longer at nights?

So your son is almost 4 months old, which means he should be past the whole getting up every 2-3 hours thing. Instead of getting up to feed him, you should start doing a self-soothe routine. Definitely not let him cry himself to sleep, but find a way to help him back to sleep. Rock him and right before he falls asleep, put him in his crib and leave the room. There are plenty of other things that you can do too, it all depends on what you feel most comfortable with. I do think that your son is too young to cry himself to sleep though.

how old is he it might be normal for his age. you could always try and put more formula in his bottle the more he eats the longer between feedings. most babies by three months get enough formal throughout the day that they don't need it at night. maybe you should try and let him self soothe the sooner he learns that not every time he cries at night he will get fed the better he will start sleeping. hope this helps.
