She has her bath at 7:00pm and a bottle at 8/8:30pm and then fights us to go to bed.. I put her in her crib she cries and carries on I have two other children who were not like this, and I am afraid she will keep them up they get mad at her.. Any ideas how long should I let her cry.. I don't belive in the put her to bed with the bottle thing but sometime just for piece of mind I have to, I give her water..

I would get somethin soothing for the room, like something that projects color or pictures on a wall or ceiling( I know target has things like that, homedics makes a lullabuy music and projector with different slides & sounds). I found it helpful to us and also a small fountain (out of reach of course, try bed bath and beyond) or something that creates soothing sounds, forest, waves, chimes, etc... (safer). Crying is okay, just not for too long, you know your baby when not happy. I used to pat the back or bumm bumm, give back massages(just light rubbings) for a little while with a stool by the crib, I remember those nights where it seemed like forever. It is hard with other kids but dont give up your kids might even like bedtime stories including the little tiny one all together head rubbings. lots a hands on, its seems really comforting to them just to be near. Let the older ones pick a story each. Try and see. I can come up with some more ideas

Good luck,

Mom
