My daughter is turning five - what I did was just stop using them at night - and around 12 pm I would get her up to go once -- has a couple accident - did this for two week - one day I fell asleep and did not get up to take her for he nite time potty and that night she had no accidents - since them we have been good

I would not worry about this. Sometimes with boys it takes a bit longer. My youngest just got out of pullups in June 09 - he is 7. He is a very sound sleeper and it took a bit longer for him. I stopped stressing about it. It will happen - he will eventually not need a pull up.

Not to pose any alarm, but have you talked with his pediatrician? It could be biological. I know it's not uncommon. My step-brother wet his bed frequently throughout childhood. I know some boys don't get the physical sensation of needing to go until it's too late, especially if they are really sound sleepers. My step-mom literally had to wake him up nightly to get him to go until he did it on his own.

Have you ever thought about trying the bed wetting systems? There is a little alarm that goes off when it senses that the underwear are getting wet. It wakes them up and then they can go to the bathroom. Sometimes it takes a few weeks. Also, juice or even too much water later in the evening can cause kids to have to pee during the night. Maybe limit the drinks after dinner for a week or so and see if that helps?
