Hi all,

Im a new mum to a beautiful 3 month old boy, River. While i was pregnant my hubby and i often spoke about what we would do for money once River was born, i am a registered nurse and loved my job working in mental health, i was also studying to get a masters degree. I couldnt bear to give up my job as i love it so much and hubby had always wanted children, so it was decided that he would be a full time stay at home daddy. I work 5 days a week, shift work, and am tired when i get home, but i get a rush when i see my boys waiting for me on the couch for a cuddle. It was hard leaving them both when river was just 2 months old on my first day back at work, but i can do alot of good with my clients as a mental health nurse. im so lucky to have such an understanding hubby and River is so lucky to have such a wonderful daddy! I am still studying for my masters degree on top of working and being a mummy, and my days are long, but i love being a nurse and a mummy, so i make it work. I am so lucky to have my hubby, as not all dads would opt to be a full time stay at home dad to cook and clean and look after bub, what we save on childcare we use on extra special family things on my days off!! So just wanted to say........YAY for DADDIES!!!!!

thank god for daddies is what i say lol im only 19 years old and have a 4 month old son and although he is the one who goes out and works and i stay at home and cook and clean he still insists on me putting my feet up at weekend while he brings baby for a walk or cleans the dishes. the daddies never get any appreciation so i agree with you.......YAY for DADDIES!!!!!
