I'm a working mom of 2...but I'm looking to make extra money without selling. Anybody have any ideas? With a low overhead?

All of the work at home jobs advertised on the internet are scams ... truly legitimate jobs from home generally start off with an office job that leads to a position of telecommuting with the company. Think about it ... ther are soooooo many people who want to "work from home," so there are soooo many people that try and take advantage of those looking for that kind of work. I honestly would not waste your time trying to find something on the internet: you are going to find a ton of scams, or a ton of things that will put spyware on your computer!

Here are a couple ideas that might help you:

- try www.craigslist.org or www.sittercity.com to find babysitting jobs in your area. I get paid $10 - $20 an hour to babysit for families on an occasional basis. These two sites are great at connecting you with families in your area.
- Network, network, network ... everywhere! When you are at church, try to make a new connection every week, when you are at the grocery store, start friendly conversation with the cashier, when you work out, say hi to all the employees. Make your face known as a friendly one, the more people you know, the more opportunites to work at home for legitimate local companies you can find through your network.
- Find something you can sell on Ebay. Buy used baby clothes at thrift stores. Clean, press and resell the good ones. Shop stores for big sales and clearance and resell the items on Ebay - clearance means the items are generally out of stock or no longer made, so someone out there is willing to pay more than what you paid.

Hope this helps - good luck!!
