My husband wants to cut my little boys hair- he just turned two, but he really doesn't hardly have any hair. I freaked and now we are fighting. What do you ladies think, cutting his hair seems like a big deal and he's got this swirl since birth that I'm worried will not grow back.

My son is 21/2 and he started getting his hair cut a 5 months. His hair still has curl when wet and is easy to take care of. I take him to get his hair cut every six weeks, but it should be up to you when you cut his hair to us it was easy. Our hairdresser thinks more parents should start earlier so their kids do not fight in the chair when getting their hair cut.

my sis thinks i should cut my daughters hair. cuz she has long hair in the front, but she's had is since birth and i want all her hair one length...the back is finally gettin caught up....and she has the best curls, i don't want to ruin them...and when we shave my hubby's hair she freaks out, so i don't think we will be cuttin it anytime soon....it's up to both of you....once my son is older i know we will get it cut a few times before he is one...cuz all of hair so far grows fast and grows in thick....

Thank you, I totally know I should compromise but sometimes when it comes to the baby I have a hard time compromising.  I just have to work harder at it I guess.  Needed to hear it from another mom.  Thanks again.

I didn't at all want my son to get his hair cut, but after awhile it was just getting too long that I gave in. I LOVE his hair now. It's so much easier to manage and mornings are a lot quicker. He still looks cute as ever.  I'm not going to say it would grow back exactly the same, but my son's seems to come back in a lot thicker and straighter. The outcome with us worked out very well, so I would say go for it.

I understand waht you are saying, both of my children had very long hair and thier father wanted to cut thier hair and part of me said yes but also part of me said no but you have to understand that you have a son. He is a boy and don't worry his hair will grow back don't worry, its not worth fighting over. Marriage is all about comprimise and somethings you say have to say ok.
