My little baby seems to love the nanny more than me because he spends all day with her, what should I do?

I work almost all day, when I got home, usually I have to take care of the kids homework, the nest day meal, usually my little baby spends more time with the nanny and he always looks after her, she is tthe only one who can confort him, when he cries he looks after her, it s nice to see that she really takes care of him but on the other hando I don´t like that he does not recognice me as his mom.

Could you find a way to spend some more quality time with him? Maybe the nanny can take care of the next day meal, homework etc. so you can have your hands free to spend some time with the baby?

I struggle with something similar (in my case it's my older child becoming prematurely separated from me because I'm always busy with work or the new baby.) I think the only answer, and it's not an easy one, is to do what Esther suggested: take a hard look at where you're spending your time when you're at home and delegate as much of the non childcare-related work to others as possible, at least while your baby is really young. i am so much less stressed out when i have dinner delivered, even though it's expensive, and can just hang with my kids during that "found" half hour of meal prep time. Also, I let my house get dirty! Housework can wait.
