Could also be teething. Whenever my daughter is getting a new tooth, her extra drool gives her a rash on her face, and she gets diarrhea (presumably from all of the extra saliva she is swallowing).

sounds like it could be something viral causing the diaherrea. Give him lots of fluids and take him to the doctor to get everything checked out.

Are you still breastfeeding ? If no, did you stop just a few days / weeks ago ? For my elder son, I had the same problem when I stopped breastfeeding. It turned out he was lactose intolerent. So I had to change his milk formula and be extra careful with his food and everything is fine now.

rash came in first, so when i took him to the Doctor at first they said it was heat rash, then diarrhea started next day, they said it is viral

There are differences is how a viral vs allergic rash appears. Did the diarhea just start? Sometimes mother's intuition is smarter than med school. Most medicine is learned by trial and error, unfortunately, so you need to be vigilent and record this and once better, try the strawberries again in a small amount once better. Dr's unfortunately are overworked and often do not see the whole picture- you need to take control of your childs illness and ask questions until you feel confidient someone is able to answer them and be backed by research.
