Some moms might find this terrible, but I always let my babies fall asleep with a bottle,

they both loved there baba so much that I never had the heart to take it away from them. They both have perfect teeth and are not still demanding they have a baba, they did eventually grow out of it.  Ideally a child learns to self-soothe, however if there is something that aids them in soothing themselves then I see no problem with it.

I agree with the taking away naps during the day, if there are two naps maybe start by changing to one nap in the middle of the two old nap routine.

I let my kids cry to sleep if neccessary, they eventually figured out it was time for sleep.

Good Luck! I hope you are all sleeping soundly very soon!

Does he sleep in a crib? do drastic measures...take away the naps!!! Literally it will help. I know youll have to endure a very cranky child and youll want to pull your hair out and yes there will be lots of crying maybe from both of you but it will help get him back on schedule that at night we sleep we dont play. I hope by now your not still giving him a sippy cup or bottle when he goes to bed at night or during the night. If you are...take that away will be rough for a while but soon he will learn not to depend on that getting him back to sleep. Instead give him a special blanket or a safe stuffed animal that he can snuggle with. Something he can find at night if he wakes up and needs the comforting in order to get back to sleep.
