I'm a university teacher and a private teacher at noon.. My little daughter sometimes complains about my schedule..She sometimes asks why I seldom accompany her, then I say that I'm busy..Later, when I'm not busy, I always come with her to play..She is very happy but then she asks whether I will be free the following day, then I say "no"..She feels a bit disappointed, then she will be angry with the people around her, such her grandma, babysitter and even with her father..So what should I do?

My daughter is 4 yrs. and I work from home. My days run long on a month or qtr end and she often asks is " her turn yet or am I still working".....It has helped me to make worksheets to practice writing letters and numers etc and coloring pages ahead for her and have her sit here in my office with me to work while I work. However, I do cut out 4-6 pm as my daughters & my time daily and when I return to work in the evening after she is settled and ready for bed she does along with me unitl time for her to go to sleep. This is working for us now, maybe something similar for you may work. Good Luck.

Try your best to explain that you work so she can have things. Also let her know that you miss her while your gone too. My kids still don't like me going to work at 5 and 6 but they also understand that they like to have new clothes and new toys!

Thank you very much..Your words encourage me much..Once again thank you.. I'll do my best to make her understand.

Of couse, I do it for financial benefit.. Sometimes I cut my private schedule for her..Actually my husband works, too..But becoming what I am today is also my goal..I used to enjoy my work hours but since I've had a baby, actually I have lessen my schedule..
