I have 3 year 8 month old son who is so not interested in potty training. I have tried everything (books, rewards, stickers, etc)! Now he changes his own pull ups. I have tried putting him in reg underpants, but they don't seem to care about them either!

Please note that my son is deaf and just has a cochlear implant last Sept. Not sure if I'm trying to do too much at the same time - hear, talk and potty train.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Meredith

Thank you! It's kind of what I was thinking, but sometime you just need to hear it form someone else! Thank again!

Hi sweetie I know it must be starting to concern you but from my experience children just 'get it' when they are ready to. The harder we seem to try the more they resist it. Hang in there, unless there is a reason he needs to be toilet trained now just wait until he is ready.

Also it is easier to toilet train in summer.
