I have just gone back to work and Sam has been screaming every time I leave the room. She won't sleep she won't eat, she won't play. What do I do?

I know it is VERY hard to see them screaming for you and that you worry about her...but it is normal for a child to scream and cry with separation anxiety.  It will be ok.......just hang in there.  Keep a routing..don't give in...and she will be ok.

Sam is just not used to you leaving yet. It is all new to her. Stick with your routine, do not give in to her actions. As long as she is left in good hands, there is nothing for you to worry about. After a week or so of you being consistant, she will get used to the change. Tell her caregiver to distract her with a game or toys or take her outside while you are leaving for work. It will be ok for both of you in the long run.
