Stay at home mums

Has any one else been met with a disapproving look from mums who can stay at home. I have recently met up with someone i have not seen for many years and when i mentioned that i have to work nearly full time hours (30+ a week) she almost turned her nose up at me!
I wish i could stay at home with my two children, but i can't. My husband is working full time and starting his own plumbing business and i have to work to help provide for my does that make me a terrible mother!
Ok my house is not as spotless as hers and i don't get to do as many activities with my children as she does as i have to cram everything into a weekend and evenings, but that does not mean i love my kids any less - or does it?

It does not make you a bad mother for having to work. I work also (40hrs a week) and when Im not at work I have my son. Don't let anyone make you feel like your not a good mother because you have to work, not everyone has the option to stay at home.
