ok, so when did your child get their first teeth? Peyton is 6 months old almost and though she's been acting like she's been teething since she was 2 months old...STILL NO TEETH!!

Mine got his teeth at 1+... we were a bit worried but then doctors said children do vary... but he wasn't too much of a trouble.

mind did not get his first until he was about 9 mths. and acted like he was around 2 mths. We used teething tablets, which works to help ease the gums.

My son started acting like he was teething at 2 mos old, but his first tooth arrived at 7 mos old. His first tooth took us by surprise because we had stopped paying attention to his "teething". However, looking back, teething has turned our good sleeper into a nightmare!  He's been teething for over 6 weeks now (3 teeth so far) and his sleep has only this week started to improve.

Quoting Nadia:

what did all you ladies do for the pain? mine is 4mos old and started showing signs of teething between 2.5mos and 3mos but it wasn't until now that he got all cranky and he has spurs when he just cries and cries....advice...

They sell these teething tablets in the market... you put a couple under the baby's tongue and they dissolve. They worked for my little one. Or my pediatrician even suggested if it seemed the pain was so intense I could give my daughter a little tylenol. You'd have to consult your own ped on that one of course... Hope this helps!

Every child is different.  Both of my children didn't get their teeth until 11 months.  Riley acted like he was teething since about 6 months...but never broke a tooth.  It is all good.  It will come in time.  Not to worry!

My daughter started chewing, drooling, and shoving her fingers in her mouth around 4 or 5 months old, but she didn't cut her first teeth until she was two weeks shy of her 1st birthday. She has 6 teeth now, and they've all come in two's. The front top two first, then the front bottom two which came out a week later. She's now 13 months old, and she has two coming in (one on each side of the top front teeth)... It's weird because we were waiting for her teeth to cut, and now they 're all coming with a vengeance! Lol!

You just have to play the waiting game. My daughter took seemingly forever to get a tooth, unlike my son who had almost all his teeth by his 1st birthday. Still my daughter is a year and a half old, still only has 5 teeth.

My Son looked as though he was getting teeth early but never got his first one until 9 months old, he is 20 months now and has 8 teeth and once again is teething like mad with his big ones. Teething starts quite early i believe but sometimes at the beginning its just the teeth moving around to start with which is  happening. I used albosol and calpol and sometimes the teething powder which seems to help when they are affecting his belly.

but dont worry it takes time almost seems forever lol x

My son was 11 months old when he got his first tooth. At his 3 month appointment, his doctor said he was teething. He has only 4 teeth now and he is 14 months old. Teething has been a tough experience for him. He wakes up and is cranky throughout the day. Typically, he is a happy little boy.
