Okay so i have an underlying placenta issue right now and i am 23 weeks! i have to get a coloscopy test done in 3 weeks to check for cancer cells. I was told that i am not supposed to have any exams like that done right now because of my underlying placenta but my OBGYN says that she will be very very careful! i dont know what to do!?!?! i know i should trust her.but it doesnt make sense. i am scared and do not want anything to happen to my little guy:( any advice? please!!!

thank you!

With a colposcopy your OB should just be looking at your cervix with the colposcope...most docs won't take a biopsy during pregnancy.

No worries!!
