Hi Tarah & everyone!

Our one year old son stopped sleeping well at 5 months and has been stirring and crying out at night for 6-7 months. Every night! are you co-sleeping? People say that kiddos have different stages for sleep regressions, especially when they're about to have a bug change/milestone. If he's about to walk or discover a new talent that could be it??

My name is Tena and I am single mommy to 3. The boys are 19 and 7 and the little girl is 2. I have played every role there is to play while raising kids. I have been a full time student, worked full time and part time, worked while running a business and now I work from home. I lost my "real" job when I was coming off of maternity leave with my daughter and have been an independent contractor for a print on demand (POD) company ever since.

Hi Laides!

I am a mom to two daughtes ages 4 and 5 and a stepmom to two teens ages 14(SS) and 16(SD). DH has sole custody of the teens-- that is more of a novel than an intro LOL. I work full time as an Agricultural Economist-- good pay, benefits, easy commute, somwhat flexible hours with a Mon-Fri schedule. I am usually at work by 6:30 AM and out by 3:00. Dh and I stagger our workdays so that he is home more of the morning and I am home more of the afternoon. I look forward to 'meeting' and chatting with other working moms!

Hello,

I'm a mom of two: a two-year old Olivia, and a 10-week old Lando. I work full time as a corrections officer. My husband also works full time outside of the house. I work a 40+ hour weeks, and sometimes it's hard to have any energy at the end of the day to play. I don't think I'd make a good stay-at-home-mom (and financially it's not an option) because I get bored easily, and there are only so many episodes of "Thomas & Friends" I can take. Looking forward to seeing what this community is all about.

@ Tarah: Does she wake up crying or screaming? Now is the time for bad dreams.

HI!! I am a Mom of 4. Two Boys and Two Girls. My oldest has Special needs (11), my Twins Boy/Girl just turned 5 and my youngest (Girl) is 2. I love my Doodle Bops to death!! I work shift work so I work four days and off for days. My schedule is crazy because I also work a bit of overtime in order to continue to save for our future. So on my off days I try to spend A LOT of time with my babies. I have a lot of help through my Mom, Brother and their Dad. I'm very thankful for my job but I hate that I do not spend more time with them, which is what I use to do before I got this job. I pray that one day it will slow down and they will understand. Thanks

Hi Amy and fellow Mommies!

My name is Tarah and I'm a full time mother and employee at a pharmaceutical company. I'm a first time mother- my daughter just turned one last week! I would love nothing more that to be a SAHM- I truly cannot get enough of my little bundle. I have an amazing life partner, Tyler, that helps in every aspect. Our current obstacle is getting our little one to sleep through the night again. It's been over a month and we're trying different techniques. No one ever tells you about the conflicts that arise from co-parenting! Any suggestions?

Hello Fellow Moms,

I am a single parent of a precious and loving 5 yr old girl. I am a full time mom, daughter, sister and an employee! It's a tough job! I work M-F and my daughter is in day care all day long..(11 hrs to be specific but can't change the siutation :( ). I wish I could stay home and spend more time with her, but I can't since I have others who depend on me as well. I feel as if I do miss out on a whole lot since I can't be at home but enjoy the time I have with her.

I look forward in meeting new mom's, learning new tips, and sharing stories. :)

Hi all, my name is Adriane. I work as an accountant in government. I am also planning to get study and take the CPA exam within the next two years. I'm the biological mom of a 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl. I have four bonus children; 30, 27, 25 and 16.

There are times when I would love to be a SAHM and then I have those moments where I believe I would miss the adult interaction being home all the time. I'm constantly telling my hubby if he ever hits the lottery for "BIG MONEY" there's only going to be one unemployed adult in our house and that will be me.

I love my kiddos and look forward to getting off work and the weekends. I enjoy doing school activities with them as well. I recently got a new supervisor and I'm praying that she's as accomodating as my former supervisor and will allow me to continue to take off to chaperone trips and attend functions at their school.

Hi Mariko & Everyone!

So nice to meet you all:)

Mariko, you're right, I'm sure we could all attest to one thing being a constant for all moms (and dads:), in that it's very hard. And as the nurturers of our families, women forget to figure out how to nurture themselves in all the daily stuff. I take a lot of comfort in knowing that any stress I feel is also counteracted by the example I'm making for Leo, so that feels a little better:). I'm sure your daughter will benefit greatly from her experience in daycare (socializing w kiddos) and that you're doing a great job!!

Hello Everyone!!

I am a working mom of a 18 month old girl. I work full time (7-4) as a legal assistant. It hasn't been easy for me all the time having to take my daughter to daycare from the age of 6 weeks. Even to this day it's sometimes hard for me. My husband and I have no family nearby so it's basically just us...and sometimes that makes things hard. I do look forward to chatting with other working moms and learn how they do everything cause it's not always easy.

Hi Amy & Everyone!!

I'm a recent CoM subscriber and am excited to be part of a great community!

I am a full time mom and a full time photographer, which enables me to be at home with my just-turned-one year old son, Leo. Since I work from home, it might bring up different issues for me than if I had to work at an office, or travel a lot for work, but I'm also not a stay-at-home'er either.. It's all complicated once the little ones arrive, I guess:).

I'm super happy that I'm getting the chance to continue to work and my hubby supports that as much as possible:).

I'm about to travel (plane trip, one connecting flight, 7-8 hr trip?), with Leo and hubby for the 1st time and am terrified. Any suggestions for a first timer?

Thanks and nice to "meet" you :)

I am a mom of 3: 11 and 6 year old daughters and a 10 month old baby boy. I work full time

M-F 8-3 (with holidays off) as a behavioral specialist. I am lucky because I am able to take the kids to school/daycare in the am and be there after school when they get home. And I am also able to attend all school activities and appts,etc...Unlike most of the moms that will likely post here, I would rather be a SAHM most days...But I work for the future for my kids, not the present. We can survive on one salary just fine, but I work to invest in college tuitions, weddings, etc...And knowing that I can support myself and my children in the event that anything would happen to my husband comforts me. I look forward to chatting with other working moms!!!

I'll start! I'm a mom of two I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old, I work full time as a retail manager so I don't have a typical Monday-Friday job, my job includes nights and weekends which has it's benefits and drawbacks. I work because I have to although I do love my job and I don't know if I would be able to be home all the time as a SAHM but I do love my kids and love the time I do get with them. Hope to hear about you and what you do!
