Time to get creative. Look up arts and crafts activities on the internet. You may even find games that you can do at home. A search on things to do on a rainy day may be helpful too. Good luck!

Check out your local YMCAs to see if they are offering summer camps. There are a lot of activities for the kids, the fees and hours are very reasonable.

Hi! This is just an idea but you could set up a "Survivor" summer for the kids. We did this at my office every year for 2 weeks and it was so much fun. If you watch Survivor you can get the basics from that but obviously you will have to wing it since A) You aren't on a deserted island and B) I'm pretty sure that you don't have a producer and staff at your disposal :). Each day the kids wake up and they are greeting by a message from you. They could have a scavenger hunt to do (pretty easy to set up and do in the house or around the house) or another type of game. There are ways for them to earn bonus points (chores maybe) and there are little rewards given daily to the winner. Obviously you can't kick anyone off the island but its fun and will keep them going. I think any type of progressive game like that is interesting. It does require a lot of comitment on the parents end though.

Fortunately my kiddos school is open all summer. Good luck!
