My little girl use to panic n not want to part with 'poo' in the potty! Tryed everything even put nappys back on for a while. Just dont give up n the health visitor told me to tell them a story about 'poo land' ------all the poos need to go down the toilet to poo land. That didnt really work either! lol! They will all do it in their own time i guess.

I did the underwear with the plastic ones on top. It takes awhile for them to feel comfortable with it, but I found that when they feel it on them and see it they remove there underwear they definitely try harder to go in the potty.

I had the same problem with my son, who is also two. I watched him for a couple of days to see when he was "squatting" to take a poo in his diaper. I would quickly race him to the bathroom before he could finish all of it in his diaper. I would sit him on the "big" potty and tell him to poop in the potty. He would sit there for a few moments, however he did it and he enjoys it now because he gets to flush the toilet when he is all done. Treats I feel is a bad habit to get into with children. I feel they will always look for some type of reward (material) instead of feeing proud in the inside about accomplishing something. Therefore always looking for something in return when they pick up their toys, clean their rooms and so on. Another tip that works for me is I sit him on the potty for 10 mins when he first wakes up, even after naps. Cutting his drink supply down at 7 pm helps to clear everything from his bladder so he is dry in the morning. So that when we start to sleep in "big boy" pants he is used to the schedule. Good luck with it. They usually catch on sooner or later.
