your baby will let you know if they are ready or not if they are still hungery after a full bottle of milk then try them on solids they will not take it if they dont like it & are not ready for it in your heart you will now what to do

Ys, if your baby is ready. I started to wean at 17 weeks as he was always hungry, strong and showing a real interest in what we were eating. Starting slowly on baby rice will do no harm - you can always stop if its not working. I found that "pure" baby rice led to constipation but baby rice ready mixed with fruits worked wonders.

My mother started giving all 7 of us real food at about 3 months. I personally took my son off of formula at 3 months and started giving him low fat milk and real food at the same time. I'm not going to say what you should do with your child. But my son is 11 now and his favorite food is Chicken Corn Chowder. Which......I started giving him
when he was 3 months old. I gave him soft foods early and his pediatricians thought I was doing the wrong thing. He has been very healthy. I believe that a mother knows what her child needs. My opinion is....if your baby seems hungry, then feed them.

yes it is, the baby needs to be able to hold his/her head up by his/her self. If you are exclusivly breast feeding you can wait as long as 6 months before starting with food.
