Yes, I work full-time and have a 3 year old son. My son goes to a day care program that is a nice small home environment. The provider offers care in her home and is state certified. She can only watch a max of 6 kids; however, she currently has 5. She does pre-school curriculum with them in the morning and we all absolutely love it. I think having him around other kids helps him socially and physically. Are you considering entering the work force?

It's so nice to have others to talk to about this. I have just started a fulltime job, with a nine month old daughter in daycare. I miss her so much during the day and can't wait to be with her when I get home. There is still a nagging guilt about her being gone from me for so long during the week (8am-5pm), but then I see how happy she is there and her skills are progressing so well. Don't like the frequent doctor visits (yet again another one today for pinkeye...thank God my hubby doesn't start back to work until Monday), though. Can anyone else offer thoughts on the guilt that comes with leaving others to take care of their little one(s) during the week?

Yes! I work full time and have a 5 year old daughter and my son will be three in April. It is certainly a juggling act. Daycare and family helps out a lot and I am very thankful for it.

my son will be turning 3 on dec 17th and i work full time from home. thankfully for me, he was recently enrolled in a daycare/learning center this past sept. so i can now get my work done and not spend all day chasing him.

I also have two boys! I work full time and my husband is a coach. We hardly see him during football season, basketball season is not that bad. My problem is getting home at 6 then having to put the boys to bed by 7:30. I feel guilty for not spending enough quality time with them. Plus, all the sick days because of daycare. I feel that I am the only person that is calling in sick all the time to pick the boys up from daycare.

Absolutely! I work full time with 2 BOYS at home (2 and 4) and it's a struggle every day of my life trying to balance it all. Can any of us help with something in particular?
