It is so hard to go to work from 7:30 to 4:30 then collect kids from school, get home to an attention seeking 4 year old, cook dinner and then help with home work and all this is done by yourselve cause you other half is lying in front of the TV asking you to make him tea how unfair is that, and my older kids got the nerve to tell me i am the lazyest person they no take that.

I'm with Liz...I don't think your lazy at all. I have a 4yr old and a 2 yr old. I drop them off at daycare in the morning, but daddy gets them in the afternoon. As far as dinner goes, they help set the table, clear their places after they eat (I mean, they may be little-but their arms work just as well as mine do). As for hubby, we have a rule in our house if one cooks then the other one cleans up. We alternate bath night.

Liz is right, EVERYONE needs to pitch in and's supposed to be a team.

I do not think you are lazy... I was a single mom raising 2 girls and working 2 jobs when they were younger. I had no one else so I had to work twice as hard. How old are the older kids? If they are teenagers, get them to help you around the house. Also are you the only one who cooks supper? If so, tell your husband that everyother night he can cook supper. It'll free up abit of your time. Just alittle advice [ take 15 min's ] when you first get home for you.... If you just want a bath, have a coffee, whatever it maybe JUST 15 MIN'S... you will thank me.I found when I just get home from work, I'm bitchy and anything thats asked before my quiet time was up was a big fat NO. After my time and after I unwind from my busy day, I could deal with home stuff better.I'm guessing your 4 yr. old is the youngest child. So get the whole family in on helping set the table, help with the cooking while you watch, have the youngest put the sliverwear on the table. They will realize just how hard you work at home .Well I've chatted enough, I hope this helps. In my house, if you don't help out in one way or another, then you do the dishes. My daughter helps every chance she gets cause she hates doing dishes.Thats funny.
