I don't think you have anything to worry about, I'm pregnant with my 1st as well, they always say you gain the least weight with the first baby... I had only gained 5 pounds at 17 weeks and so I was very small myself, my baby bump just barely became obvious at 22 weeks and at 25 weeks now I've only gained 7 pounds. Don't fret honey, you're only almost half way there, the real gain doesn't come until the end, you're not supposed to blow up all of a sudden, its very gradual and be glad that its probably all going to be baby and belly in the end, no cankles for you! :-)

With my first son it took almost 6m months for anyone to be able to tell I was pregnant and even then, llose clothes hid it. I went into the gym 3 weeks before my due date and they didn't even realize I was pregnant! Don't worry, as long as your baby is grwing and you're keeping yourself healthy that's all that matters. this time around people who knew me could tell I was pregnant by the time I was two and a half months. Congratulations on yor pregnancy!

Everyone said that I was having twins cuz i was showing so soon with my first baby but like everyone tell you each and eery woman is different you never really know when your going to start showing. And dont let neone tell you that your not where your suppose to be. Only you will know when something is worng or every thing is going right! ; ) Good luck

danielle didn't mention if she's 18 weeks with her first or not, but I know with each baby, you show sooner. I'm pregnant with our 3rd at 16 1/2 weeks and haven't gained any weight also, but started popping as of a few weeks ago.
With my first...didn't start showing til after 5 months. But of course like danielle said, everyone is different. If you're really concerned (or to get mom off your back lol) talk to the doctor about it and find out what he/she says, then relay to mom. :)

If you add me as a friend you can see that I am 18 wks and huge!! but i havent gained any weight so i too get the questions and doubts about my eating! Some people say i am showing a lot more then I should and then I get the very few who say that I am small! Ha thats a joke. But as long as you are eating well and taking care of you and your baby I think you are fine everyone developes at their own rate!
